Celine: Baby, you are gonna miss that plane.
Jesse: I know.
Vincent: I don’t know how to thank you.
Jerome: No, no. I got the better end of the deal. I only lent you my body. You lent me your dream.
Gattaca (1997)
Vincent: For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I’m suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I’m not leaving… maybe I’m going home.

Day 05 - Favorite love story in a film
BEFORE SUNSET | 2004 | dir. Richard Linklater
Julie Delpy | Ethan Hawke
Before Sunset shows the romance film genre that you can have an intelligent, fresh and wonderfully written romance set in a romantic city that doesn’t need to rely on cheaply earned affections. The dialogue in the film is rich, textured, human, and not overbearingly intellectual. Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke’s chemistry is still as fresh as it was nearly 10 years after doing Before Sunrise. Selected as one of my Top 20 Films of the Past Decade.+A post.
