I’m going to take a minute off from being silly and talk seriously about this. Christian Bale has deserved recognition for his work for a long time. He should have been nominated for Oscars (and Golden Globes, SAGs, Critics’ Choices, whatever) for
- Empire of the Sun
- American Psycho
- Equilibrium
- The Machinist
- Rescue Dawn
- The Prestige
- 3:10 to Yuma
- The Fighter
Somehow, all of these magnificent performances have been passed over (other than the Fighter, thank goodness). I don’t know how. He’s an absolutely excellent actor, one of the best I’ve ever seen. He brings so much to every single role, and I always look forward to watching him. I am so glad that he is finally getting the nominations and awards he deserves, because it’s been a long time coming.
Love you, Christian Bale :3 Keep being so damn awesome, and I can’t wait to see you finally win that Oscar.
